Hour Abaya is a Saudi-based modest fashion brand inspired by the vision of a young Sudanese woman who sought to create more than just clothing. It is a community-driven brand that brings together girls and women who share a love for modesty, faith, and Islamic values.

Hour Abaya was born from a meaningful vision, yet it faced the challenge of translating that vision into a clear and compelling brand identity. In a saturated modest fashion market, many abaya brands tend to follow predictable aesthetics—either overly traditional or disconnected from younger audiences. Hour needed to stand out while staying true to its core: modesty, faith, and community. There was also a deeper challenge beyond product positioning. Hour is not just about selling abayas; it aims to create a sense of belonging for young women who share common values rooted in Islam. However, without a defined visual language and brand voice, this sense of community and emotional connection was not fully communicated. Additionally, balancing affordability with a perception of style and quality required a thoughtful approach to avoid being seen as either too basic or lacking identity.

The goal was to build a vibrant and meaningful identity for Hour Abaya that reflects both its spiritual foundation and its youthful energy. I developed a visual language that balances modesty with expression—allowing the brand to feel approachable, uplifting, and relevant to a new generation of women. A colorful palette, transitioning from purple to pink, was introduced to evoke brightness, joy, and femininity. This choice breaks away from the conventional dark tones often associated with abayas, positioning Hour as fresh, optimistic, and full of life while still respecting cultural values.

The goal was to build a vibrant and meaningful identity for Hour Abaya that reflects both its spiritual foundation and its youthful energy. I developed a visual language that balances modesty with expression—allowing the brand to feel approachable, uplifting, and relevant to a new generation of women. For the typographic direction, I drew inspiration from Thuluth calligraphy (خط الثلث), known for its strong, grounded, and elegant characteristics. This style reflects the brand’s core values—confidence, clarity, and a deep-rooted connection to tradition—while still feeling familiar and accessible. The balance between strength and fluidity in the calligraphy mirrors the identity of the Hour woman: grounded in her beliefs yet expressive in her individuality.



The overall system was designed to feel inclusive and flexible, supporting the idea of community while maintaining a consistent and recognizable presence. By combining expressive color, culturally rooted typography, and a clear message, Hour is positioned as more than a fashion brand—it becomes a space where young women can connect, express themselves modestly, and feel part of something bigger.

Since its launch, AquaFlow has witnessed a remarkable response from health-conscious individuals seeking a reliable source of pure drinking water. Customers have appreciated the transparency in AquaFlow's sourcing methods, allowing them to drink with confidence and peace of mind. The convenience of doorstep delivery has alleviated the burden of carrying heavy water bottles and provided a consistent supply of refreshing water. AquaFlow's commitment to sustainability has resonated with environmentally conscious consumers, further strengthening the brand's reputation and impact.
